Privacy
Your boards never leave your phone. The one thing that does reach the internet is the banner ad — and it asks for non-personalized ads only.

Data you create
Your boards, jobs, people, colors, and preferences are stored locally on your device. Kolo runs no servers of its own and never uploads this content anywhere. Chore assignments are calculated from the calendar date on your phone, so there is no history to store and nothing to sync.
If you export a board, the resulting file is handed to your device's share sheet. Where it goes from there — WhatsApp, email, a note — is entirely your choice, and Kolo plays no part in it.
Advertising
Kolo displays a single banner advertisement, provided by Google AdMob. To serve it, Google's advertising SDK may collect and process:
- Device and advertising identifiers
- IP address (giving an approximate, non-precise location)
- App interaction and diagnostic data
Kolo requests non-personalized ads only. Your data is not used to build an advertising profile of you across apps. For how Google handles this data, see Google's Privacy & Terms and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Consent
In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, Kolo shows a consent form — Google's User Messaging Platform — before any ad is served, as the law requires. Everywhere else the app proceeds with non-personalized ads.
Children
Kolo is a general-audience app intended to be operated by adults. It is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can reset your advertising identifier in your device settings at any time. On iOS you may limit ad tracking; on Android you may opt out of ads personalization. Uninstalling the app removes every board it stored.
This website
kolo.frontend.services serves static pages and sets no cookies. It runs no analytics and no advertising scripts. It does load web fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers and Google receives your IP address in the process.
